We are open this month subscriptions for the new edition of The International Science & Engineering Visualization Challenge a competition to the sounds of science-themed images and animations. And animations, really great stuff. The purpose the contest, which is a collaboration of National Science Foundation (NSF) with the scientific journal Science (gallery winners 2010), and 'to promote science and education can be effective, incisive and never boring. Participants can choose from five different categories: photography, illustration, posters and graphics, interactive games and non-interactive media. Catered 'word for everyone. The deadline for sending their subscription and 'September 15, 2011 and February 2012 the winning works will be published in Science. Meanwhile, just to get an idea of \u200b\u200bthe animations look a received honorable mention 2010 in the animation category for: travel in mouse brain and in the mechanisms of memory.
